About Us
History
Our story starts way back, when the world was engulfed by the Covid 19 Pandemic.
We are an impact driven organization committed to driving positive change in Africa through strategic investments. Our mission is to support and empower innovative ventures that have the potential to make a lasting impact on the African society.
To achieve our mission, we provide sponsorship and free mentorship to early-stage African entrepreneurs in the following areas, financial management, marketing, business administration and corporate law. Before taking this stance however, our organization went through various shifts and changes.
In March of 2020 Qabam was founded in Johannesburg South Africa as a marketing agency. We later upgraded into a business consultancy offering a wide range of professional services in October 2021. The realization that many black entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas could not afford these services and struggled with securing funding propelled us to venture in a new direction. In November 2022 we shifted from being a profit-oriented business to an impact driven organization focused on driving positive change in Africa through empowerment in entrepreneurship.
